1. Overview
FORNOXYS operates Fegod Discord Bot. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
2. Data We Collect
The bot collects and processes only the minimum data required to function:
- Discord user ID and username — recorded when a slash command is used, solely to include attribution in forwarded messages (e.g. feature requests).
- Command input text — the content of
/reportsubmissions, forwarded to the configured channel. - Webhook payloads — JSON bodies sent to
POST /webhook/*endpoints from external status providers. These are processed in memory and not stored. - HTTP access logs — standard request logs (method, path, status code) written to the system journal for debugging. No personal data beyond IP addresses is retained in logs.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- Message content from Discord channels (the bot does not read messages).
- Any data beyond what is listed above.
4. How Data Is Used
Data is used exclusively to operate the service — forwarding status alerts and feature requests to the configured Discord channels. We do not sell, share, or use data for advertising or analytics.
5. Data Retention
No user data is stored in a database. Command inputs are forwarded to Discord and not retained by the bot. System logs are subject to the host's standard log rotation policy.
6. Third-Party Services
The bot interacts with:
- Discord — messages and commands are subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
- Atlassian Statuspage — webhook payloads originate from status providers you configure.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of any data associated with your Discord user ID by opening an issue on GitHub or contacting us directly.8. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
